Welcome. If you are a fan of history, science, mythology, and legendary creatures, or maps, then you’ve come to the right place. I’ve created two different fantasy series. Both are suitable for strong middle grade readers through adults.
The Books
Misaligned combines the Welsh origins of Arthurian legend with String Theory in a small upstate New York town. The series features Penny Preston, a gifted 13-year old girl with the ability to see and interact with beings from higher dimensions – she’s misaligned. As a retelling of Welsh mythology, it is similar to Rick Riordan’s series, but with links to history and science. More detailed descriptions of each book as well as a review can be found under the Misaligned tab.
The Warders is a high fantasy take on a James Bond-like adventure where magic and monsters take the place of technological gadgets and super-villains. The series features agents from various fantasy races working in a secret organization to protect the small kingdom of Eridan. In style, it is very similar to Feist’s Riftwar Legacy series or Eddings’ Belgariad. A short synopsis and review for each story can be found under the Warders tab.
The Blog
The theme for my blog is ‘A Mind that Wonders Often Wanders.’ As such my past posts range from speculation about number theory, science, and history to thoughts about the craft of writing and being an author with a small press. It includes a numerous posts (known as Map Monday), featuring an interesting map and illuminating commentary from me. There are also a half-dozen or so interviews with fellow authors. If you’re an author and are interested in being featured, I’d be more than happy to add you to the list. Most of the posts are original, but I’m not against sharing the good ideas of others. My latest posts are under Armen’s Blog tab. Take a look and if something catches your interest, please follow along.
Other Features
The News & Events tab, found under this page, provides updates for new releases and lists any scheduled book signings, presentations, or other activities. It also includes links to interviews and author features I’ve done over the last several years. If you’d like to schedule an event, interview me, or feature me on your blog, please contact me directly. My rates are unbeatable.
From time to time, which means far less often than I’d like, I also post reviews for books I’ve read. Like my blog they cross a broad spectrum, but most are either by fellow indie/small press authors or are about helping such authors. While you can find some of my older reviews within my blog, all of them are available under the My Reviews tab, located under this page, which also includes a link to purchase the reviewed book from Amazon.
That brings me to the last tab, Where to Purchase tab. It’s a convenient page giving you one click access to all of my books through all major online retailers as well as directly from my publisher. The latter never costs more and occasionally costs less. In addition to putting a few extra pennies into my pocket you can spend your savings on a second book.
Yes, welcome….there are people who just have enough humor and it is important. Congratulation!
Thanks!

You’ve definitely got one of the broadest writing palettes I’ve come across. Best of luck to you.

I like your “Welcome” Page, Armen. Just popped over from Indies Unlimited to have a look. Cheers!
Thanks, Cathy. I appreciate you visiting.
Glad I found it, Armen. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts….or maybe I’m a bit scared. 🙂 Amy
I appreciate your courage in signing up. Perhaps you should browse some of my previous content – although I’m not sure which direction that might tip things. Assuming you like it tell your friends, if not, well, even someone as nice as you must have enemies 🙂
